    hey,
thank you so much! it was such an amazing feeling to wear this dress :)

oh yes, I had these "growing pains". it was, I can´t describe how much it hurt! one day, it was the worst day in my summer holidays, I could only walk for a few minutes, so much did it hurt :((
but the pains were worth it, ´cause I´m taller than my friends and taller than my mom now :D

it´s my third week at school after the summer holidays and our teachers bury us so to speak under homework and tests!
at tuesday we actually had a kind of a sport event, but it´s so to speak fallen into water, ´cause at this day we had a heavy storm and we all got wet, very wet!
that was the most exciting day since school started ;)

    hope you all are fine!

    love,
    Vanessa♥

I have never written to a TV 'personality' before but your site feels more like 'mom to mom' than 'star to fan.' Since I watch very little TV and don't go to the movies, I have to admit I first saw you on NCIS. I am sure you get tired of the NCIS references but I hope it brought you many new fans (never burn your bridges!). Just a 'thank you' for being so considerate and sharing some time out of your very hectic schedule with your fans and friends.

Welcome! I definitely feel like one of the lucky ones. A producer saw me in a play. I knew lots of VERY talented people who never got that kind of break. It is a tough business that way.

    Hey Lauren
Yeah the guys are really immature. But I’ve started to ignore the. So I don’t get angry anymore. My school week has been really busy. I’ve been studying everyday till 11.00 p.m. with my friends at boarding school. I’m really exhausted but there is no time to rest because my best friend is celebrating her 20th birthday. She ranted a really nice club and we’re going to party the whole night. And today I’m going to play paintball with my clique. I’m sure it’s going to be a great weekend.
    I gotta go.

    Xoxo Gabriela-Sophia

It does sound like it will be a fun weekend. Except the paintball part. I did that once. Got hit in the chest, and spent the rest of the time whimpering in the bushes, praying no one would pick me off again. Ouch! I think you wear more protective gear these days.....lol

Yday, I FINALLY had hospital news. An appointment!!! HURRAY!! Oct 19th. So a months time, after 3 months on the waiting list,4 months since I requested.I originally was given an appt oct 15th with Dr K but then they decided to change which consultant I was under, so I'm with Dr W, oct 19th. I looked 'em up on the hospitals' website & Dr K seems more appropriate but I guess they know best. Dr K is based at St Thomas's, I don't know about Dr W. Waiting on written confirmation. (Guys & St Thomas's - 2 hospitals, in different parts of London, but same trust...) I don't know which this appt is at, but it's 9am so I'm travelling with the commuter rush, meaning 7:02 or 7:17am train to play safe. I happen to know some hospitals give x many ppl 9am, then treat them first come first serve, so I may lean towards the 7:02, meaning I could potentially be at Thomas's for half 8. I'll take a reading book. or two.

Anyway. The main thing is I have an appt. So with that and the OU, and probable benefit due to docs cert, I can sit back and wait now, & things for the immediate future are a bit on the up.

Sandra should so be champagne! Writing still a mess, but yes with not being in work & everything health, I shall have a fair bit of time on my hands.

Anyway. I'm rambling. Using 'anyway' a lot. & opening my mail between sentances. (it's 12:08, postman's a midday guy). Gran wants me to sort dinner too. best get on. Made veggie sausage rolls this morn. Here's a still warm one for you. :)

no foal yet, the suspense is intense! heehee. am very glad its not my weekend to work, i'm very sleep deprived.
also thinking i may have a heel spur, i can barely walk, which made work interesting. guess i'll find out when i go to the doctor monday.

road trip with my best friend tomorrow, have not seen her for ages so i'm looking forward to it. probably the only friend in my life who really truly likes me for who i am - the good and the bad :)and we can talk about absolutely everything and anything.

hope you managed to catch up on things a little bit. sometimes when you stop, you really just stop and its so hard to get motivated.

sending good weekend vibes to you and members of the LHA :)

I'm so glad you are back! Maybe if I think of my hormones as an amusement park ride, it might be easier. The hot flashes & night sweats have been hell, not to mention the moods. I think I was possibly feeling your blues with you. My 2 oldest & I always had post production blues whenever any of us finished a project.

Well, my birthday & the cake fight had to be put on hold. It rained, & I wasn't going to allow a cake fight indoors. It was also chilly out, so rain & cold make for a bad mix. The worst part about the day was my basement flooding, AGAIN! What a mess. The water receded today with the help of the plumber. I've been pouring bleach everywhere. Thank goodness it's a concrete floor. So, the way I see it, I technically won't turn 45 until we celebrate my birthday & the cake fight commences, lol! My kids are excited for this, as are the neighbors!

Well, I told you that I'd tell you about my stalker. I was 19, 5 hours away from home at college. For over a year, there were 3 guys that wouldn't leave me alone. I'd get phone calls, they'd show up at my dorm, I even noticed 1 of them when I was home for a visit. I told my family & friends, but they said it was all in my head & I was crazy. I ended up being raped. I had no one to turn to. My mom died when I was 15, & dad was an alcoholic. I ended up in the ER in bad shape, with an officer & advocate. They told me that I'd be eaten alive in court, however I should press charges. I'll tell the happy part tomorrow. :)

The flooding part was bad enough, but the rest of your post??!!!!! I'm so sorry. Having to endure such a thing, and then to have no support system.....it makes me mad. I hope the rest of the story gets more positive. I am amazed at people like yourself who persevere after something so horrific. I can only hope that you came to realize how strong you must be. Have you been able to be open with your friends and loved ones?

S - For some compelling reason I need to describe my favorite junk food - Tastykake butterscotch krimpets. I mentioned them once before. You didn't pick up on them, so I checked the company's history on Wikipedia. It's possible you have never been exposed to them. The company operates, as it has since its founding in 1914, out of Philadelphia. It serves mainly the Mid-Atlantic and some Northeast states. Krimpets are long pieces of white finger cake with an incredible, mouth-watering butterscotch icing. When I was little there were three fingers to a package. The icing was so soft and fresh it almost always stuck to the cellophane wrapping, so it was imperative that one's index finger remain clean for use. I always ate the cake first, then closed my eyes and licked the icing off of my finger. Unworldly! Today, the icing has been stiffened a tad, so it remains on the cake, usually. But the taste remains the same. In the early days of TV in our area, there were endless ads for these cakes.

I wouldn't mind if our go-kart race was held in the rain. I'd just need to cover my cannon hat to keep the cheesy colors safe. Screams are more satisfying in the wet.

Every now and then just stop your world and get off. Spend time for yourself without worrying about others. (I know, how do you do that? - that's where knowing Scrabble comes in.)

Meanwhile keep on smilin' and laughin'....O

O- I do know tastykakes!!!! My Grandparents on my Dad's side always made sure they had some when we went to their house. They lived in Bucks County ,Pa. We didn't have them in upstate NY. You made me have a fond memory moment. They also had Schwepp's. Ginger Ale, and bitter lemon. I've never been able to find the bitter lemon anywhere else. Once I joined in for cocktail hour, my drink was Vodka and bitter lemon at their house. Papa made it for me perfectly, and always in the same glass. It was my mark and symbol of adulthood. Thanks for that. -S

    Good early morning :D

You need to meet my cats, they almost like dogs. REALLY :D They love it to be with me and when i got to my best friend, the follow me :)
And whhen I was on vacation, Marie&DJ was angry about me. The didn't come to me, but 2 days later, they wanted to be with me. I love them and they love me- they show me that every day :')

I was growing up with 5 rabbits (all death), toulouse (a cat, but he died on 3th March this year :'( ) and Ariel (a dog, also death :'( )
All death. It's so sad. I can everytime cry. I grow upt with them, since I was little. Toulouse i have known since i was 3 or 4. Ariel since i was zero and the rabbits since I was 6.
It's amazing for me, to have all this great memories.

Have you ever met your Ur-Grandma? I did. I have known her 14 years. She died at 30th October 2007. One day for my 14th Birthday... and now i cry
    :(
    I miss her so much.

But how are you? I hope fine ♥
    love you :)

    Hey Lauren.

I honestly could not tell you how I woke up with a black eye.
I know there are a set of drawer beside the bed, I know I rumble about alot. but this has never happened before. LOL. Normally if I sleep walk I'll fall asleep again on the floor... I never make it back to bed.. and I end up waking my nana in the process... Which is pretty easy to do. hmmmm.
The swelling has gone down today which is a good thing I think. but I seriously look like a panda. EEEEP! Oh well.

Apart from that. I am finally home. I have power now too.. YAY!!! I can be happy again. haha!

I also won a fanfiction award today.. Well 2 in fact.. One for best 'SMUT' (No idea how cos I seriously can't write it) and one for Fantasy. LOL :)I fell off my chair with excitement.. haha (I covered my eye though.. No more injury there LMAO)

    Anyway, Ramble OVER
    Honor xx

P.S ... How is the film going?

    Hello Lauren and LHA!
Well, I didn't win the SBI comp. but I had sooooo much fun singing on a huge stage in a park, in the middle of town! Talk about a great experience! Lots and lots of people, all eyes on you, and then the stage lights come up and showtime! A moment I will never forget! I had so many people there to support me: 2 of my great- aunts, my grandad (who has cancer and always has a smile), my sister, dad, step-mother, a ton of friends, my high school drama and art teacher and her husband! Such a great night. It's one for the books :) I just watched You're So Cupid and loved it! Very cute film and you did a great job! I loved how you always had something in arms reach to eat, lol! I can't wait to see the show that you and your son just wrapped! Also, do you know any details about Banshee? I haven't heard much about it. As always I hope everyone has a great day/night!

    Hello Lauren! :)
First two days of junior year of high school are complete! It's kinda scary, thinking about it. I don't feel nearly old enough to only have two years of high school left. My mom thinks the same thing lol :) My classes don't seem too terrible; AP Physics is the only subject I'm really worried about. All the formulas and conversions make my head spin! My friend who took it last year says that all I'll have to do is take a lot of notes and really study for tests. I'm thinking I'm not going to have a life outside of school for like, half the year. Well, unless you count marching band. but technically that's school, isn't it? Oh well; at least I like my band buddies :)
Our first competition is Saturday; I'm both nervous and excited. I mean, I always get excited for the first show of the year, but we have a lot of competition and a reputation to uphold. It's a lot to live up to! But, I have faith in my bandmates; we'll at the very least have fun! :)
I hope you had a good last few days of summer weather; it's been cold and rainy here. Not the best weather to practice in! I'm off to spend go do the mountain of homework that's sitting on my desk. Have a good rest of the week! :)

I am so happy that you and your son had a great time. What a memory you both have. I am envious, but I know I am blessed with my relationship with my daughter. Talk about daughter, she is involved in another relationship. I am afraid that it is not a good one. I tried talking to her before she decided to see this guy but you know they will do want they want. So, I am polite and such around him but there are some things that make me question the relationship. I just don't want her to get hurt again, but I know I have no control over that. I think she does not like to be alone, so she rushes into relationships. I tried to explain to her that it is a great feeling when you can enjoy your own company and don't depend on another to make you happy. She is may be too young to understand that. It is so nice having you back. I hope your "show blues" don't last too long. Thank you for your friendship. Love Nancy

My Dad once told me that the greatest lesson he could teach me was "to learn how to be alone"'. Then he grounded me for something, lol. But he was right about the lesson...."rebound" relationships usually don't last, and the hurt often isn't as bad. As long as he isn't bringing her into a world of drugs or crime, I'd say just deal- it probably won't be for long. In the meantime, keep reminding her. It will sink in.

It's too strange : the french love the USA, but the americans love france. A french proverb say "L'herbe est toujours plus verte ailleurs.", translate : The grass is always greener elsewhere. It's true ! A few days ago was the start, I was very excited. I have not had the teacher that I wanted, but it's okay =)

PS: when will in France, could you tell me ?

    Hi :)

Nice to hear from you again! How are you doing?
I hurt my foot in P.E class today. I can't walk and it hurts so bad all the time. Anyway, there's bigger problems than my foot. Yesterday, some girl same aged than I am, crashed her scooter wit a car. She died. I can't believe this, I didn't even knew her, but of course this touches me very much, and this is just awful. It feels that so many young boy/girl are dieing this day..

Anyway I went to hairdresser today, I have dark hair now, I like! I put a pic someday soon....
