Hi Lauren, I just read the bit you wrote about the movie, and the other movies and your blogs, and just wanted to say that the other guys were right about the talented way you write, you really do have an excellent way with words. If you ever right a book, I'm definatley buying it. Which reminds me, one of the things I promised myself is that i'll read more, are there any books that you would recommend?
I've been doing my Bruce Lee thing for about a month now and Im already noticing a diffence, I found a book which tells you all about his fitness training,all the exercises and routines etc that he used to do. It even tells you what he ate, and has his diary entries and performance charts he filled out, basically everything, but the more I find out about him, the more I realise how impossible it is to get in as great shape as he was. He trained every single day, from 7am to 9pm!
But I think I'm going to get REALLY close because im doing almost exactly the same training that he was doing when he was about 24, and i'm 20 so I've got time on my side;) -

How are you?
I've just spent the last three days reading all the posts on this board from page 329 to 270. I will eventually try to read them all, but it's clearly going to take a long while lol. I wanted to read them to try and make sure that I didn't ask you questions that you've already answered like a million times before, because I know how really annoying that is. Wish I'd read before I started posting (Which btw was a whole seven months ago lol), because I realised that some of my questions you have previously answered, so my apologies. I've found some of the posts really amusing, like your comments about you trying to kick your smoking habit (hope you're still successful with that), and then your messages about trying to keep fit lol. It all made me wish I'd found your site sooner, because it really is the most amazing site EVER, and it's full of very amazing people. I really feel part of a family here :)
I was watching an episode of NCIS the other day, I think it was the very first one of season four, and noticed that in one of the scenes you started with a earring and then it was missing half way through lol. I was just wondering how old you were when you got your ears pierced? I was nine and I remember getting them done so clearly.
My little brother cried when I had them done instead of me, even though I was terrified. When my big sis asked him what was wrong he said it was because they were hurting his big sister. Lol bless him.

Long time no speak! Man, when was the last time I posted? All is well, work is good although not much overtime atm. OU is going well as is volunteer work and writing.
Not much going on that aside. I've been a strict vegetarian for just under 5 years now, and something I heard Ellen Degeneres say in a clip recently has kind of woken me up a bit to what I've been ignoring, and thus I'm thinking of going Vegan. In other news, my sister is pregnant with a baby boy due in April, which is quite exciting.
Oh, and we have snow here in the UK. Ruddy stuff is pretty but stuffs me up for getting to work. Love hate, eh? Why does the UK fall apart when it snows? Other countries cope.
I hope you and family are all keeping well. What's going on with you of late? Hope 2012 is rocking x -

Well its snowing! I think that I am the only person not happy, its not that I dont like snow, I was kind of hoping to go on a bike ride tomorrow. It started today and apparently its going to get lots worse. It was a beautiful morning, bright blue sky, glorious sunshine then it snowed and it has not stopped! One good hing about it is that I can stay in and watch a couple of movies :)
So hows life in the Holly-Greco land? I love your work, you are so talented and geourgius and always seam soooo happy. Never change Lauren, you are perfect and admired by all us fans :)

Hi Lauren... I have no problem prodding you from time to time to write. Feel free to tell me to zip it if it gets annoying. You should get the boys to help. When you want to write, employ one to guard the door to your office and answer the phone so you can have 15 minutes or however long you want to sit down and write. And if you have a block -- I find drinking scotch to do wonders. I have no idea how/why it works but it just does. ;)
Don't know if you'll see this in time (and you probably already figured it out yourself) but was thinking if you want to increase your Twitter followers, you have a rare opportunity this coming Monday and especially Tuesday. With NCIS' 200th episode airing, there will be huge interest and probably more searches on the hashtag. You can do a couple of simple tweets -- wish your former castmates luck, share a backstage memory, whatever... and use #NCIS at the end. I know it was several years ago and you've moved on, but hey -- if it can increase your base with minimal effort, it might be worth a try. I bet it would get retweeted like crazy, too. -

Just thought I'd share a story I'd heard today from a friend.
She was having an argument with her daughter about whether her kinder-egg toy was a Rhino or a Dinosaur, so her daughter looked at her and said "Fine, we'll call it a Rhinosaur!" Gotta love a child's thinking Lol.
By the way I meant to comment on your comments about your memory. No you can't use age as an excuse for forgetfulness, you're not old so you can't use it :)

Hi Lauren: Thank you for letting me vent last time. I think if might have been too much, but I knew you would understand being a mom and wife with a career. When do you ever get time for yourself?? I have this woman at work who trys to make passes and me and I've have ask her to not bother me at the work place because there could be trouble with me working in a Sheriff's Office and such. I have no problem with how one lives their life and feel one should do their thing, but I certainly don't need that at work. I don't want to hurt her, I just want her to understand that this can't happen. I hope she understand what I told her in the best way I could. Well see what happens. I am feeling alot better then I did. It does not last long, just come in moments as you know. I am back to my usual self. Sometimes I tell you pretty personal stuff. I surprise myself at times, because I am usually very private. You bring the best out in people. You are a blessing. I usually don't tell other people, so sometimes I let you have it and share. I hope you don't mind. I never want to abuse this gift that you give us. I know you are very intelligent and answer with a great amount of thought. I hope you have a great weekend. Yo Lauren, there is a reason why I try not to get caught up in Sam’s projects. Over the weekend all I wanted to do was re-wire the garage because there was a short that was causing the opener to stop w/the door half way up. Ok, sounds easy right? NOT WITH MY WIFE. We have our circuit breaker box in the basement, everything labeled as it should. I TOLD Sam that I was going to work in the garage, I had turned off the breaker for the garage, which unfortunately is on the same line with a part of the basement. Well, my lovely wife decided she wanted to vacuum & used the switch, which was off because I’m working in the garage! My wife, decides, oh instead of calling my husband, I’ll just fix this myself! So she flipped the breaker, making the line active. I had the outlet box open in the garage, stuck my hand in & I swear I must have flown five feet in the air. Then because I’m outside, my lovely wife can’t hear me & I’ve got to drag myself back to the house, when I can walk again cuz I think I may have peed on myself a little! I hear electrocution does that to you. So I explained to her what happened & I told her never to touch anything ever again. I swear I wasn’t yelling, but she insists I was cuz the baby started to kick. OMG, when she is born I’m going to have to two females in my house! I’m going to duct tape everything so no one can touch it except me! PEACE! -

My brother, my hero.
Jonathan, my 16yo brother, has been through a lot this past year, health wise & kept a stoic face through it all which made me admire him.
My brother, though he stands at 5'11 & 210lbs & plays lacrosse, is a relatively quiet kid. He's not an open kid, prying information out of him is like pulling teeth but when he does talk & relay information, it's a connection I cling to. Since 2nd semester of his freshman year, Jon has been apart of the Air Force ROTC program at Dunwoody HS. As I said before, he's a quiet kid so I don't really know what goes on at school but it wasn't until my mom got back from parent/teacher night on Monday did I realize what a treasure my brother is.
Jon was recently promoted to Second Lieutenant & Chief told my mom that he, Jon, is one of the only students to go trough the ROTC program at DHS & be promoted this quickly. My brother is apparently a born leader in this program. They had inspection last week. Inspection happens once every 3-4 years & it's when an Air Force Captain, stationed in a neighboring state, comes to see their ROTC program. Apparently my brother has ROTC kids reporting to him & my brother created a presentation on the computer that blew everyone, including the Captain, away. The Captain gave DHS' ROTC program 2 of the highest honors an ROTC program can receive, & Chief said it was all thanks to my brother. I have never been more proud.

Dear Lauren, Bali is indeed a haven for me. When I feel drain after a week’s work, I’d pack a bag and fly there on Friday nite to enjoy a peaceful w’kend usually w/ 1 or 2 of my better friends. I’d lounge about in de beach drinking a cold beer, having a massage under de palm trees, taking small steps in de sands to enjoy de waves sweeping against my feet. I’d stay in Sanur area, it’s known as de sunrise beach, I’d go to Kuta to watch de sunset.
Another favorite is when I run into one of de colorful temple ceremonies w/ traditionally dressed women carrying sesajen (offering) such as towers of tropical fruits on their heads (my avatar -courtesy of my cousin Maria). It’s a unique sensation when I’m drawn into de nuance of de ritual, feeling absorbed ‘as if’ I understand it despite of not understanding a word. Offering itself is a habit for Balinese Hindus who always start & end de day with offerings. It’s translated as a food to Hyang Widhi -the Almighty. The Pura’s, Balinese temples, are also a definite must see when in Bali, this is next ;). Lauren, I hope I can depict a visualization of Bali in a vivid style, and in a way, hopefully fulfill your wish list until de time comes for you to experience it yourself.
A random question, if it’s not too bad a memory for you, and if it’s alrite for you to share, I’d like to ask how you dealt w/ your stalker? I’ve this obsessed admirer who is becoming too creepy.
